- Continue implementing full lumped tissue modeling and simulation workflow.
- Follow up with FEBio folks about Mooney-Rivlin material implementation with in situ strain and Augmented Lagrangian not working with contact.
- Rici
- Revise in vivo data manuscript for resubmission.
- Continue development of manuscript on in vivo indentation stiffness.
- Continue development of manuscript on tissue thickness measurement comparisons.
- Ahmet
- Compile haptics libraries and SofaHAPI.
- Review revised manuscript on instrumented ultrasound.
- Review draft of model assembly manuscript.
Notes:
- Manuscripts update.
- Rici has been finalizing a couple of figures for the revised in vivo data manuscript. She will have a draft ready for Ahmet to review on Wednesday.
- Work on in vivo surface stiffness manuscript will proceed after in vivo data paper has been revised.
- Data dissemination update.
- Rici reached out to Tod from Stanford University to get an update on the in vitro data management system. He is still working out the bugs for the new version. Joy also asked Rici to update the bug tracking system with bugs/feature requests.
- The Cleveland Clinic team still waits for the green light from Stanford University about the readiness of in vitro data management system for launch.
- In vitro testing status.
- Tyler will be out-of-office until beginning of June. Surgical tool testing will start when he comes back. As of now, protocols are complete and software and hardware are operational. A full mock will be conducted when he returns back before testing starts.
- Tissue characterization efforts will continue when Tyler returns back to office.
Modeling & simulation status.
- Ben noted that Rici had a suggestion for adding the Python scripts to the Salome path so that Snehal and Ariel can run his modeling script. He plans to implement this for now until he can determine a more robust way to handle this issue.
- Ben has been testing model script for Open Knee(s) modeling. He noticed that the model will run when using interactive Abaqus GUI, but does not run without it. Ben has been looking through Abaqus input files to see what has been changing between running with and without interactive GUI.
- Ben is still waiting to hear back about new version of FEBio.
- Review of immediate action items from past meeting.
- All action items were related to the agenda items; refer to discussions above.
- Decide immediate action items for next meeting.
- See Ongoing Action Items above.
- Other.
- None noted.
