svFSIplus
svFSIplus is an open-source, parallel, finite element multi-physics solver providing capabilities to simulate the partial differential equations (PDEs) governing solid and fluid mechanics, diffusion, and electrophysiology.

Software Dependencies The C++ compiler, Visualization Toolkit (VTK) and OpenMPI software packages must be installed with the version listed for each svFSIplus installer before the svFSIplus program can be executed.

On Ubuntu and MacOS the svFSIplus executable svfsiplus is installed in /usr/local/sv/svFSIplus/DATE/bin/ where DATE is the build date with the format YYYY-MM-DD.

svOneDSolver
The svOneDSolver solves for blood pressure and flow in deformable one-dimensional hemodynamic networks. These equations offer a relatively efficient means to reproduce realistic wave propagation phenomenon in vascular networks. The sv1DSolver is included in the SimVascular Windows installer.

svSolver
The svSolver includes three executable programs: Presolver(svpre), Flowsolver(svsolver), Postsolver(svpost). These solvers are called by SimVascular for simulation and postprocessing. svSolver includes capabilities for rigid wall simulations and FSI simulations using the coupled momentum method (CMM).

svZeroDSolver
The svZeroDSolver program simulates the hemodynamics in zero-dimensional (0D) lumped parameter models of vascular networks governed by differential algebraic equations (DAEs).

The solver can be used as a stand-alone C++ executable, a Python package through its Python wrappers or a plugin callable from external programs using a C++ interface.

svFSI
The svFSI flow solver provides capabilities for performing fluid structure interaction (FSI) simulations using an Arbitrary Lagrangian Eulerian (ALE) formulation. Simulation files for svFSI simulations can be prepared in the main SimVascular GUI.
