A complete tear is made in the tendon and fibroblasts migrate to the wound to deposit collagen and remodel the scar that is formed. The red agents are collagen fibers with an assigned heading. The blue triangles are fibroblasts that migrate throughout the wound and deposit and degrade collagen. The green color represents chemokine that is produced from the wound space and diffuse outward.
