Interests

I am a Postdoctoral Researcher in iBO/CERTH. I have a B.Sc. in Physics as well as a M.Sc. and a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering. From 2010 to 2018 I was a member of the “National program of controlled thermonuclear fusion”, which is part of EUROfusion. I have expertise in CFD modelling of free surface MHD flows and Heat Transfer of liquid metals for fusion applications and a strong background on Fluid Mechanics, Wetting Phenomena, Plasma Physics and Finite Element Analysis. At the moment, I am interested in the field of Biomechanics and Bioengineering with emphasis on developing advanced personalized, multi-scale computer models preventing osteoarthritis.
