This musculoskeletal model was tuned by changing parameters of the original wrapping surfaces and by implementing additional wrapping surfaces, which prevent muscles from crossing into the bones, providing realistic muscle moment arms for large hip and knee range of motion. The modified MSKM is suitable for analysis up to 138º of hip flexion and 145º of knee flexion.
