Selecting what time steps to be saved

Detailed description
Is there any way to dictate what time steps are to be saved to the output files? For example, I want to run a 3 second simulation and only have the output files display every 0.1 seconds rather than 0.0001 or whatever the integrator ends up using? This way users can decide what fixed time step to be reported in the output files.
