Right now projects like "Ayman's Private Project" are appearing in the "Trending Projects" list on the main SimTK homepage, and they shouldn't. In the case of "Ayman's Private Project," it appears to be popping up because new download files have been added. Please remove the number of new download files as a criteria in the algorithm and also experiment with changing the number of projects that are put into the pool of projects to be displayed. You might also consider adding weights to the criteria, so for instance, projects that have the top number of downloads appear more often on the list. Also, projects that satisfy multiple criteria might appear more often. |
