Learning the mechanism of Adverse Drug Reactions through computational simulation

The project is initiated for Final year students of Doctor of Pharmacy in the discipline of Applied Clinical Pharmacy. The objectives are to help the students in regard to Adverse drug reactions observed during their clinical clerkship at various hospitals in Pakistan. The students will learn and utilize Advanced Simulation Software, Tools, Apps and Packages. This research based project may play significant role in identification, targeting and control of Adverse drug reactions associated with pharmacotherapeutic agents, prior to prescription or post prescribed medication ( Forensic studies). The project needs Bioengineered simulation tools and software packages for the possible prediction of ADR that can produce 3D modeling of the invitro biological effects of drugs and medicines. This may have the advantage for safe use of medication in Clinical Pharmacy.
