This project brings together a consortium of researchers with interest in modeling the patellofemoral joint. This project serves as common point to discuss collaborative projects, ranging from understanding the mechanism of patellofemoral pain, surgical and non-surgical intervention for pain, patellofemoral instability and osteoarthritis. It is hoped that a significant repository of in vitro and in vivo data will be gathered to facilitate model improvements with the ultimate goal of predicting clinical outcome.
