Provide a tool for calculating joint contact loads in OpenSim or export relevant kinematics and muscle forces to finite element packages.
This project is an analysis and export toolset designed to support high fidelity estimation of muscle forces and joint contact loads. This project aims to compare estimates of knee loads calculated with elastic foundation models in OpenSim to knee mechanics calculated in external finite element packages. In order to support consistency between OpenSim and finite element calculations, these tools will enable OpenSim to export geometry, kinematics, and muscle force vectors in a convenient format for application in finite element packages.
