Functional Electrical Stimulation Cycling (FES Cycling) is a rehabilitation technique that allows a spinal cord injured (SCI) volunteer to ride a bicycle contracting his/her muscles. This project provides a model and several scripts to test and develop three control strategies to simulate FES cycling. We adapted the leg6dof9musc model, adjusting positions and attaching objects to approximate it to a recumbent bicycle. Further, we developed scripts in Matlab to control the excitation of muscles to generate specific cycling cadences.
