This agent-based model simulates muscle regeneration following eccentric contraction, over 28 days. The model is run in Repast Simphony, and takes inputs from a finite element model of a muscle fibre bundle that is lengthened with simultaneous active contraction. Example muscle histology that has been converted to pixel form is provided, as well as strain inputs to initiate damage to the muscle.
