Provide ability to read, write, create and modify DICOM format medical images.

This project is a tool for those who need to use DICOM images. This C++/STL code base is a very straight interpretation of the DICOM standard which can also be used for didactic purposes. It is also meant to be very portable and be especially useful for creating DICOM images from scratch.
