Provides the models and simulation results for testing the sensitivity of gait to progressive calf muscle shortening.
This is a sensitivity study examining the robustness of human gait to progressive contracture of the gastrocnemius and soleus muscles. Study results can be used to understand what kinds and degrees of contracture likely lead to equinus, or tip toe walking, which is a characteristic feature of gait in Cerebral Palsy patients.
